Crushed rock, cooked oatmill, lemon zest, white pepper. Definitely more body than the regular St. Claire, crisp and minerally driven. Green apple and lemon in the mid. Tangy finish.

Pulled and poured after chilling in the normal fridge. The first impression is good - nice fruitiness and chalk on the nose and the palate, with a good level of acidity to balance it, and a moderate length finish.
But this is a wine that needs to be kept cool - as it warmed to around cellar temperature the balance was awry - the acidity overwhelming the fruit. Keep it in an ice bucket or a fridge!
