A pleasant but strictly mediocre wine. More creamy than flinty, more puffy fruit than crisp minerality. Easy to drink but uninspiring. Not interesting enough to lay on the adjectives but will do in a pinch. Can neither eschew nor recommend.

Paitin with Giovanni Pesquero-Elia & Brocard Chablis (Bin 75): From 60 year old vines; pale greenish yellow; faint nose of briny green apple, some richness from the malo, lemon zest, fine chalk dust, obvious impact of nobility and saliva inducing quality; definitely less fat on the palate than the nose suggests, obvious Chardonnay, tart green apple and lemon, chalk resonates; delicious.

Greenish straw colour with hollow body. Nose of citrus blossom and apples, minerality on the palate. A velvety and refined wine with short finish and zesty acidity. Solid Chablis for the price.

- Light gold color. It's balanced with a medium/full body. Narrow texture with a medium finish.
