Initial coravin pour was thin, bitter, and medicinal. Two months later with a short decant -- Cherry and fall spice on the nose, with medium-light body, medium acid, light tannins, and a lovely juicy palate featuring sappy red cherries.

A lovely wine. Opened 2 hours before drinking. Big nose and long finish. Improved after another 2-3 hours. Best to keep another couple of years before drinking

Good floral aromatics draw you in on pouring. Clean display of red berries with spices and oak integration on the palate with a silky finish. There's enough tertiary characters hidden throughout to keep things interesting.
This would've been a fantastic house red in a previous era. Easy to drink, yet still has enough to keep subsequent glasses fun.

Oops! Wrong decision perhaps, to open this. Dark purplish, this nosed of wood, wood & more wood, plus wood-spice. No resemblance of a Burg on the palate; I’d have guessed a GSM (w/o the tannins) or something, if blinded... Decided to save 3/4 of the btl for the 2nd-day, hoping it will come together. Nope, this was just as closed & impenetrable as the day before. Hrmm, maybe another 5-yrs???
