Nose is blueberry, nice acidity. It definitely could use about an hour decant. I'm enjoying the finish. Tasting smoke, some herbs, medium complexity. I believe this will improve in a couple of years.

dark fruited nose. medium (at most) aromatics. The palate is significantly improved on day two. Dark fruits, Kirsch, herbs, mineral. This had good acidity and the tannins still present. The finish improved and lengthened. I wouldn't be afraid to open this in a few years. I'll see what my next bottle is doing in 26. I really enjoyed it.

Full body. 14.5pct abv. Dark jammy fruits in nice depth and balance. There is nice soft tannic structure on the finish that gives this good body, complexity and harmony. This paired beautifully with rich buttery steaks, where we needed something big and fruity.

I found it shallow on the palate, almost as if the wine had lost its fruit due to age, but it's only been 6 years since it was bottled. It's better on the nose - bringing out aromas of red currant, cherry pie, and black pepper. Also, high on tannins, which make the finish longer, ending at the roof of the mouth.

Deep dark balanced. The fruit is ripe blackberry with a finish that lasts and resolves with the tannin Really nice Gigondas
