New Years Eve - Friends and Fun!: suffered due to being overpowered by the excellent 05 St Cosme - but this is a very good wine on its own. Riper tones of black and red fruit, young and quite light for a ripe wine. over time the fruit leans toward darker tones - blueberry and blackberry. some herb and pepper, good finish.

this has a decent tannic and rustic finish that makes the sort or plummy ripish taste go nicely with a hearty stew. wish it wasn't so warm out. could see enjoying this on a cold fall day.

I love this. Big boned and warming, and designed for big roasts and stews. What I like best about it, though, is that, like Dom du Cayron, there's a tart acidic freshness underlying all the richness.

Good but not great. Showing some signs of development, but the palate is a bit loose, and the strawberry and spice tend toward raisin and clove.

Very unfriendly to food, with soaring alcoholic mouth and nose.
Flabby, overripe and overall very unpleasant in the mouth. Nose of wet cardboard/wood pulp, cedar and cigar. Just terrible.
