I had mixed feeling here. There is a lot of intensity, lot of depth and impressive delineation. But this young, this is just too dense, too intense to be truly enjoyed. Bit the biggest weakness here was the alcohol heat on the nose (it could not hide the 14% alcohol that well). I doubt, this will every reach greatness
Decanting: I would not open this right now, better to wait a decade. If opened now I would give it two hours in the decanter.

At a restaurant in Dijon. Bright red berry fruit, rhubarb, sweet spice. The palate had a nice linear layer, was refined, layered and precise. Fruit forward aromatics, maybe could have done with a slightly brighter palate, but that‘s complaining on a high level. Sugary, candy-like sweetness. Unfortunately a bit of heat.
