Medium ruby red in color, this wine reveals plum, wild cherry and cranberry on the nose. The mouth feel is medium bodied with defined oak notes as well as subtle raspberry undertones. The finish is a little short with the acidity and red fruits not completely integrated. 13.9% abv.
Purchased for $16US, this wine was a decent qpr with no hard edges.

P: Med, poss MF, body; Rndish entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) NICELY counterbalanced by TANGY aidity with a HINT of very, VERY fine tannins which SLOWLY, fairly seamlessly morph into a LONG, tangy/swt finish with a VERY slight spiciness. For now & into '21, though could well improve through mid Summer '18. PHENOMENAL QPR @ this vendor's $17.95, which is in the top 25% of the sources currently listed on wine-searcher! My VG+, with potential for some degree of EXC. Double Gold @ S.F. Chronicle Wine Comp & Gold & Houston Rodeo Wine Comp.
