Double decanted over three hours and paired with grilled aged steak and califlower roasted in duck fat. Wine was beautiful. Similar to notes from others from back in 2012 of dried dark fruits and earthiness but now everything in balance and no dominate tannins. Damn...Wish I had more because this is nowhere near past it's prime.

Decanted and drank over 3+ hours. Moderately strong aromas of dark dried fruit, earth, and oak. Not a lot of flavors on the tongue, and the tannins are still quite heavy and drying. However, the finish is long and has lovely floral/rose complexity. The wine paired well with Italian sausage and bell peppers.

Cherry, spices and chalky nose. Cherry, minerals, licorice on palate. Decanted about two hours, which probably wasn't enough.
