Appearance: medium lemon Nose: medium intensity; aromas of green apple, grapefruit, lemon, lime, creamy, toast, pastry. It’s developing. Palate: dry, medium plus acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium flavour intensity. Flavours align with nose. The finish is medium. Overall, it’s a good wine. Drink now, not suitable for further ageing. The wine has good balance between its acidity and citrus and green fruits of apple, grapefruit and lemon. There’s some secondary characters of pastry and cream, and it has developed some tertiary toasty notes. All of these offer decent complexity to make it better than an acceptable level wine. Although it presents some typicity of a restrained style chardy from Adelaide Hill, it doesn’t have enough flavour concentration or length to be a very good wine. The fruit flavours are not well defined and feel a little watery. It’s enjoyable to drink now but there isn’t much space for improvement from further cellaring.

Had a couple of these now, well nice structured chardy with lemony front and a butterscotch finish. Very impressed, bought some 18 now.
