Nose: mentholyptus cough drop, burning rubber, with a slight dirt aroma. Palatte: Sour apple with bitter chocolate up front. big acid with hard tannins. Young.

Piemonte OL: Clerico (Monforte d'Alba): Clean, fresh, simple, nicely balanced, good fruit. Barrique aged and 14.5% alc., but neither the oak nor the alcohol was obtrusive. Quite ok for a Barbera.
