Still quite fresh, and fun. This blend of Trebbiano (45%), Malvasia (35%), Verdicchio seems to be in the same proportions each year - and that's a good thing, as it's consistently worked for me across those years. A shimmering color of light hay, with lovely white floral notes that sit atop a base of white and yellow fruits. By the second glass, the minerality is trying to catch up to the intensity of the white floral notes, but it never quite gets there. That said, on the palate, it's sheer joy on the med(-) body, and its med/med+ finish. Some may like this cooler, but I prefer it ~ 50-55F. Drink now thru 2023+; 12,0% abv. This is in the market now for ca. $25 USD, so I will be reloading. recommended+
At tasting. Brief note. Nose and palate are full of grapefruit zest and tangy bite, earthy funk, bitter lemon, and very mineral driven. Midpalate is full of lip smacking acid and chewy texture from the skin contact. Finish is quite clipped ending in a bitter mess. Still not sold on natural wines...

A baby orange natural wine with the right amount of skin contact which complements the finished wine and doesn't become the focus. I wouldn't call this an orange wine. It's a white wine enhanced with slight oxidation. Flavors of lemon custard and fermented apple cider. Splendid.

Dinner at Altura. Fennel and roses, star fruit. Round mouthfeel and excellent mellow finish.

White fruit (apple?, slight citrus), floral, slight oxidized note, good acidity. Lemon peel. Slight herbal. Really enjoyable.
