Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 92 points

  • Clear and lightly golden color. Nose of honeyed almond, jasmine, white tea and mead. Viscous and slightly tannic in the mouth, with phenolic sweetness and acidic bite. Long finish. Seriously delicious, with a long way to go. Trebbiano (45%), Malvasia (35%) and Verdicchio (20%), with skin contact.

Editorial note: this is a cultish wine from central Italy, sometimes known as the Nun Wine as it’s made by hand at a monastery with oversight from Paolo Bea.

Sourced from Westgate Wine, Raleigh, NC.
