Decanted at 4:15 and tasted through 8pm, from Magnum. Medium ruby red with no sign of age. Nose is very brambly with cherry and some spice. Palate is a touch richer than I expected yet still bright with acidity. Long and layered. Black raspberry and raspberry bramble shows through on the palate as well. Seductively long on the finish. Very good with a grilled steak.

Great nose with sweet liquor-like black raspberry and cherry with cola and toast. Mouth-filling baked black fruit and oak on the palate with a slight bitter tannin finish.

Pop and pour. Tart cherries on the nose. Raspberries and cola on the palate. Well balanced and probably in it's prime drinking window.
