  Top/upper shoulder, some seepage. Medium garnet colour, some sediment. Dried red cherry, wild strawberry, earth, mushroom, coffee, sweet tobacco, spices and balsamic notes, with high acidity, fully resolved tannin and good length of the lightly dry finish. The wine benefited from moderate aeration and became balanced and harmonious and fairly smoothly textured after some time in a small decanter. Last glass drank best. Drink now.
