Similar to my tasting note from January 2023. This has improved with age and it warrants a solid 1 hour decant minimum. Due to its purity of red cherry fruit, reminds me of the 2015 Poggio di Sotto Rosso. I assume this wine is aged in neutral Slovenian oak barrels?

Coravin glass. Bright, transparent red. A bit shy on the nose, not expressive. But nice aromatics of fresh, bright red fruit, pomegranate and walnuts. The palate is fresh and elegant for Brunello and quite approachable for this structured vintage. This has solid potential but I would hold for some more years. 16.5/20

a bit of funk at first but it eventually blew away. dark red cherry and suave tannins. early drinking window but ready with an hour decant

Comfortable in its drinking window. Dark cherries dominate the palate. High alcohol levels obscure the fruit to some extent.
