A young and eager Brunello here. Red plum, fresh strawberry, cherry and pomegranate are sensuously intertwined on the palate with a beautiful bouquet of dried flowers and perfume on the nose, fingering overtones of oak, leather and vanilla into the sheets. The tannins are silky smooth, with a curvy medium body that sprawls across your senses like afternoon sunlight peeking through drapes of shining ruby. A long finish offers a beautiful climax with every sip of this lovely, fruit-forward gem.

Way too young. Red tomato flavors dominate = sangiovesish. Probably 5 years from starting to brown into a real brunello, I hope. At this age, you might drink most randon sangioveses without being able to tell much difference.

Popped and poured. Black cherry, leather, olives and herbs come through. The wine is fairly open knit, ripe but has good acidity. Fairly simple at this early stage but drinks nicely.
