A wonderful blend from Belair-Monage, vintage 2015 is really drinkable with a little help right now. Decanted for 1 - 2 hours, the alhol hole begins to calm down. Plums, blackberries and raspberries, wonderful minerality, integrated oak, acidity and tannins in harmony. This is very good now, but will of course be even better in at least five years.

Tasted next to 2020. Quite expressive on the nose - sweet, ripe fruit, dark flowers, liquorice, herbs, spices. On the palate dense and big, polished tannins, good acidity. Very long. 93-95

During a Matter of Taste walkabout tasting, no detailed tasting notes. Not much aromas here but very dense palate, dark fruit. Felt over-extracted.

Color: Ruby
Nose: Dark chocolate, black cherry, Chinese five spice.
Palate: Leather, tobacco, dark fruit, thai basil. Well balanced with a huge mouth feel.
Body: Full body, large tannins.
Finish: Tannins linger, super dry finish.
Beautiful wine. Needs 6+ hours to decant and a big piece of meat. Would benefit of 5 more years of cellaring.

Deep ruby.
Pronounced on the nose with black plum, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, red plum, mint, cedar, vanilla and leather. Developing.
Pronounced and dry on the palate. Full body, high alcohol, high silky tannins, high acidity, long finish.
Can drink now but has potential for aging.
Lovely, opulent but refined wine. Incredible finish.
