Fresh and acidic beams of lemon juice and clementine give way to a lively interplay of citrus and white stone flavors, brightening and dynamically coating the palate. Not exaggeratedly punchy to the point that it creates an over-puckering experience, but rather a balanced energy finishing with a kick of acid that makes for fine lift and attention-grabbing presence. A notable clench at the back of the jaw reminds me I’m drinking a young White Burg. A fun vigor without being too zingy to show its core fruit elements. Ends with clementine, kaffir lime and lemon notes repeating on the tail. Drink now and over the next few years, especially if you more value freshness and brilliance in your Chardonnay profile over matured base tones. 94-95 points.

Pina colada, oak and tropical fruit on the nose. Very ripe with extremely low acidity for a young white but this is 2016. I think it will not improve with aging

Le Roi (Guillaume Bistro, Sydney): Exceedingly rich, buttery, controlled oak, muted stone fruit, toasted, very pure and very young, all buttery rather than fruit. Hmm. Time for me.

La Paulée de New York Gala Dinner (Pier Sixty - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Rich, slightly off balance, finishing slightly sweet. Good weight. Ok overall.
