Needed about 30 minutes to open up. Given this bottle was nigh on 15 years when we drank it, surprisingly little browning at the glass rim and still had a lot left to give. Rich and smooth; and great withn the beef filet I was eating. Deep crimson colour, and delicious dark berry notes. Some spice on the finish with a good length overall.

Very light for a Tempranillo. Too fruity. Did not go pair well with our dinner.

Dark crimson core. Nose: dusty violets, blackberries, paprika. Attack: cooked blackberries. Mid-palatte: wildflowers. Finish: vanilla; spices. Medium body. Long length. Firm tannins.
