cheers - amazing how this "average" wine has aged. 2008 wasn't even a great vintage, but this wine is now exceptional. I've seen ratings on Cellar Tracker for this bottle from 79 to 90. I assume the 79 rating might be due to storage or another reason the wine tasted this poorly.

cheers - well, there must be a good reason why no one has reported on this 2008 Crianza since 2015....not necessarily a wine you'd be saving this long...but I ran across a case being sold at discount for $2.50/bottle and being a big Rioja fan, couldn't resist....even at 9 years old, this wine is still quite fruity, and easily lasted into day 2 without turning. A great value, haha!
