Both this bottle and the 2016 Torrin Banshee were decanted for four hours then tasted together over two nights. Night one, the Harmonie, being Grenache dominant, presented itself as brighter with more freshness. The Torrin displayed a rich, creamy texture of dark berries being Syrah dominant. Both wines were mouthwatering with the nod going toward the Banshee for its power and finesse. On night two, the Harmonie filled out adding both force and texture. The Torrin had changed only slightly becoming a bit softer. It was just too difficult to pick one over the other. Two beautifully crafted wines both nights.

Decanted for 4 hours then consumed over 2 nights. Hmm. Quite a different experience from the bottle I reviewed over a year ago. This bottle stressed power over both evenings without the typical elegant delivery expected from this producer. An interesting phase, though still quite enjoyable.

very tight, closed dark red raspberry fruit, excellent structure, short finish, seemed to lack depth of flavors, will it ever open up? needs years of bottle age

Decanted for 11 hours at room temperature then refrigerated the final hour. A feminine Rhone blend, soft and demure over the first hour then offering a more saturated palate as the evening advanced. Entering early adulthood, this bottle stands out for its elegant progression from front to back.

more open and accessible rich, delicious raspberry fruit, excellent structure, softening tannins, ample finish and acidity, beautiful wine
