Rose's on the Deck (For a Time): A Summer Party -2nd Edition (Matt and Brenda's, Minneapolis, MN): Light salmon color. Drank a glass over 20 minutes. Brought this to the annual rose tasting at Matt and Brenda's. My last '17 and still holding up well. Really mineral driven with deep stone and gravel notes now, lots of saline and then the floral potpourri spice box with strawberry and peach fruits.

With a relaxed 4th of July afternoon 2 hour charcuterie lunch in our front yard at our fun new cafe table near a couple flower beds and under the glorious shade of our 23yr old maple. The perfect setting for this elegant fresh classic Bandol rose' on a 90 degree somewhat humid MN day. My Pandora Cat Steven's channel sealed the deal. Pale salmon pink. Weightless elegance and vibrantly fresh. Strawberry, peach, mineral, spice herbs and sea breeze aromatics. I really enjoy the subtle aspects of this wine. 13% alc. This was the best btl yet in a lovely setting.

Light-medium salmon color. Drank 2 glasses over 2 hours. Dried strawberries, rose hips, ocean breeze, peach; so fresh on the nose. The palate has that delicacy and elegance, not the power of Tempier, but on the same scale of sophistication and compexity; peach, dried berries, melon, dry and light with an airy minerality that drives everything.

I will pile on to Chablis28’s review as I consumed a bottle over 2 nights as well with parallel results. A Rose with complexity and character, with QPR to boot. Recommended.

From 375ml.
Pale rose gold color.
Nose slight wax, floral stone fruit.
Palate profoundly mineral, lightly tart peach.
Dry and evolving, minimal fruit but more of an almost savory note, citrus pith
