Decanted for 1.5 hours. Color: Dark ruby. Nose: Plum, black cherry, mocha, cedar, and leather. Palate: a big Cali cab, jammy, macerated strawberry, ripe blackberries, chocolate, silky viscous mouth-feel, light to medium tannins. Paired with grilled prime rib eye. Will it develop more complexity? Drinking well now, will hold for a few more years.

This was quite delicious, similar to previous notes but has opened up a bit more. I generally like the '15 vintage and this is a good example. Not as concentrated as I remember, but still solid, slightly perfumed on the finish vs. dry (and I prefer more dryness).

Balanced but unremarkable. Classic pig in the poke situation where Costco represents that it is discounted and a great deal on an exemplary wine. But it’s simply a passable cab without much more to report. Harsh nose and ultimately bitter essence. Would think a good deal $22-25.

Good concentration, quite packed and stacked.

Nose: light oak and dark berries
Taste: some dark chocolate, dark cherries and black berries. A bit of a short finish but a really nice Cab.
