Impressive, pretty, lees-driven style, plenty of creaminess balanced by zesty acidity and citrus fruit character. Bracing, a good food wine, with plenty of potential in the medium term.

Good quality chardonnay. A bit of reduction on the nose with apple and some floral characteristics. Acidity and body are well integrated after a few hours open (no decanting this time). A tasty wine, but I would drink up in the next 3 years unless you like older characteristics in wines.

1/3, under DIAM (10). Pale/medium straw. Nose shows apple and pear fruit, touch of vanilla, one of sesame. Medium bodied, lovely balance with ripe apple/pear fruit, touch of creaminess, vibrant acids, medium/good length finish. Not overly complex but deilicious mid-week drinking.

Consistent to previous bottles which is a nice confirmation that diam is a safe cork option in burgundy.
