  • Lovely chardonnay had with a fantastic meal at the Restaurant at Pearl Morissette. The wine held itself with the seafood forward courses and the duck, was a bit overpowered by the goat and cheese course.

On the nose: sweet lemon, white flowers, and a hint of apricot and spice.

On the palate: the wine was in complete balance between acidity and texture. Orchard fruit notes gave it richness with a touch of minerality on the finish. As the wine warmed up over three hours notes of baking spices came through.

  • Terrific for the price. Lime/peach/apple, touch of walnut, great acidity, super fresh and lively, kiss of vanilla. If I were to critique, I’d love a smidge more extract, but this is otherwise exactly what I like my white burg to be.

  • Mealy top note, then rich lime cordial, golden apple and a little wood.

Full-bodied, showing good concentration and intensity, with a lively persistent sapid quality. Ripe and juicy, structured too, with long spicy citrus and white fruit flavours, and a mealy, toasty finish.
