Straw/pale gold. Clearly cool climate, the nose shows citrus, stone fruit and minerality. Noticeable acidity but not too much, vibrant, medium bodied with a good finish. A great demonstration that not all Australian chardonnays are huge and flush with butter and oak.

Honey, nuts and tropical fruit notes. Some more complexity has developed since my last bottle, with softer acidity. Very good. Drinking well now.

Rich, even opulent. I feared the oak was going to be too much, but it worked. Thanks to concentrated fruit.
Top class.
Does it need age? No. Will it age? I’m not sure, I’d drink within 4 years. Why bother aging it?
