Loved this '17 so much throughout 2018 and 2019 that I saved a bottle for summer 2021. And in fact it was stunning as ever on the first night— still quite lively, and maybe showing off its complexity and nuance even more than during its first two seasons. By night three in the fridge, while the nose was still pretty, the palate’s pleasure had passed. Moving straight to the '20s for this summer.

From color to bouquet to palate, an outstanding rosé. Radiant apricot peach color. Very posh. Planar in bouquet with a sense of olfactory hues dry-icing off both surfaces. Drinking this on the last warm October day because in a way it’s a summer rosé: deliciously crisp and even funky, then blooming through a long three dimensional finish.

This is one of my favorite roses I've tasted all year. Phenomenal, gorgeous stuff. Deep salmon color. Pretty nose of strawberries, watermelon rind, salty, spicy elements and wild herbs. So bright on the palate but gorgeous, deep texture, and the balance is pristine. Strawberries and watermelon (some rind and greens thrown in there as well, but it's all good). So much mineral, chalky, saline and crushed shell elements, and there are this earthy, savory elements that add complexity as well. Loving this stuff.

Tried this last year, and really enjoyed it. Still one of my favorite rosés, it's different than anything I've had before - very little fruit, lots of dusty stone on the palate (which I love). I liked this as much or more than a '16 and '17 Tempier, and only slightly less than a '17 Domaine de Terrebrune Bandol rosé. Really should buy more if I can find it.
