  Monthly Tasting Group HWS #131; Italy, Sicily (by DJ): Dark berries, especially black currants in the bouquet. On the palate herbs and spices, red berries, chocolate, firm acidity and tannin. A beautiful wine which needs a few more years of ageing to really show what it has in store.

  Almost black in the glass. Complex nose with powerful dark fruit, leather, marzipan and flowers. Great structure on the palate. Dark fruit, leather, coke, burnt crust and lard. Lingers, and can be laid down for a long time.
