2018 Domaine de la Taille aux Loups Vin de France Cuvée Parcellaire Monopole Bretonnière

Well rounded and acidity in check now. Wet wool, lanolin, honey, apple, unripe mountain peach, unripe pineapple. Damask rose, lilac. I like the spiciness and herbaceousness in the beautiful finish.

Out of balance. Arkward. Disjointed.

2015 Reichsrat Von Buhl Forster Pechstein Riesling Großes Gewächs
4/10/2024 - Mr. Montrachet Likes this wine: 92 Points
This is indeed a strange wine. Honey, petrol, nectarine, orange marmalade and a nose that indicates slight oxidation. But then, surprise, this nose is followed by a pungent lime and grapefruit acid attack, very focused, on the palate.
So strange, but interesting. And changing. Even caraway seeds. Better with every sip. 92-93
