Nose is subtle, ripe blue fruits, hints of pepper, aniseed, fresh herbs and gentle oak. Palate has sweet spicy berries, smooth texture, leading to a reserved and polished finish. Some may wish for more vibrancy and excitement for a Shiraz from the Aussie land. But this is made for people who enjoy drinkability, balance and harmony. At its peak drinking window now.

Dark red, long legs. Ripe dark fruits, dense fruity core, spices, black pepper, dry herbals. M+/full body, medium finish with dark chocolate and oak. All good, expect more concentration to match ‘trophy’ level. JH 93
Ap 5/5, Ar 12/15, Palate 16/20, Overall 3+3/10 Total 89/100

Bangkok Trip Feb 2020; 2/6/2020-2/9/2020 (Singapore-Bangkok): Deep ruby and a slight fading at edges. Aromas of candied ripe blackberry and cassis, and a little bit of coffee grounds. Fairly tannic, silky, but lots of alcohol and full bodied. Flavours beginning with ripe blackberry, and then the pepper spices and coffee grounds take over. Finished pretty long. Nice one but would prefer that it has better balance, or on the other hand be bolder

Served in SIA lounge. Not very expressive on the nose, bit of woods and flowers. Dark fruits, decent acidity, and spicy tannins. Good density and length but no obvious over-extraction. ABV 14.5% witch warmth at finish. Well made OZ Shiraz.
