Tasted blind. Clear, bright, medium yellow, with a green hue. The nose is clean, medium (+) in intensity, with aromas of ripe yellow apple, ripe lemon, vanilla, clove and nutmeg. The nose is developing and shows the effects of some careful aging in French Oak. The palate is dry, with medium (+) acidity, medium (+) alcohol, medium (+) flavor intensity and medium (+) to long finish. Overall, this is very elegant and balanced. It is still quite youthful and has the potential for increasing in complexity.
This is a fairly classic Chardonnay. Not much else it could be. The restrained wine-making and French Oak point to Old World. The greenish hue and modest alcohol point to a cool to moderate climate. It is riper and has less minerality than a Chablis, so it has to be a Cote de Beaune?

A: medium lemon-green N: SMOKE, vanilla, nutmeg (Rick's note), struck match, wet salty stone, yellow apple, peach, lemon curd, quince. Pronounced nose and developing P: Dry, medium (+) acidity, no bitterness, medium alcohol (13% but i read it more like medium + on the palate), full body, medium (+) intensity and long finish. C: Outstanding quality and will certainly benefit from aging.
GUESSES: So the notes that i took on this are just like the notes that i took on a 2015 Puling-Montrachet that i tasted last month (see Ken and Michaels Pinot Noir extravaganza Tasting Story). So i guessed it was that.

Tasted blind. Started off very well with great texture and no bite. After some time it faded a lot. Super dry and not much flavor at 2 hours.

Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Tasting, brief note. Ripe apple with a little sulfur that blew off quickly. Lush start, mineral and restrained middle and finish. Good now with upside, 88-89 point potential.

Martine tasting at Vinfolio:
Seemed to have a green, skunky canibus smell to it. Not my favorite.
