Pale gold, with a lovely nose of cape gooseberry, complex citrus aromas and a trailing note of hazelnut complicated by traces of musk. Lovely satiny mouthfeel with a balanced level of tart acidity and vinous richness. Finish is long and saline. An outstanding Chenin and perhaps the best I have had from California! Plus, it clearly ages well -- they are shipping the 2021, so this has been in the cellar at the restaurant we ordered it in for nearly 4 years. Of course I don't know what I would have scored it on release, but I am noticing that this bottle seems to be one that improved in the cellar since the TNs others posted 2 or 3 years ago.

Similar thoughts as before. Has picked up some weight and the leesy, oyster shell flavors are more noticeable than I previously recall. Baked apple, honeysuckle, and pear notes.

Greenish gold with rim fading to pale green. Aromas are white dominant: apple, pear, honeydew, faint notes of lime, honeysuckle. On the palate, flint, slate, honey appears as well. Medium minus body, bright texture, medium plus acidity. Days 1& 2, finish was medium plus. After that, finish diminished to medium. Overall impression: reminiscent of a Loire Chenin & of Alsatian Riesling. This added complexity. At $22, QPR is average. Drink now.

Ben's note is spot on. On the second night, it had picked up a bit of weight on the mid-palate and finish.

This is the Cuvee of the three single vineyards. Smells of Chenin, in a good way. A touch of bright peach on the fruit. Mineral and fresh on the back.
