Drank this at home with some friends whom I used to act together with.
Lush, pompous and grand, this wine is singing at the top of its voice. A key difference between the Barossa and Mclaren Vale red wines is that Barossa style is more bold and direct, while Mclaren Vale tends to be more subtle and complexed.
Lovely wine which proves Aussie wines can age just fine. 10 years on this one and lively acid is still present with lush an lingering red and purple fruits. Wish I had more of this wine. It's drinking vet, very nicely now.
