With gochujang swordfish. Nice restrained New World pinot with a nod to Burgundy (but just a nod). Dark cherry, cola, black pepper, an new leather. Respectable juice, esp for a sub-$20 btl.

Dark cherry, raspberry, strawberry flavors, balanced with a fair bit of oak and some Oregon funk. Well balanced. Still going strong, with several years of life left of you have any (which I don’t, any more, sadly).

Another very nice showing. Dark cherry in colour with little hints of brick on the rim. More dark cherry and strawberry on the nose. Some herbal hint. Palate is ripe and sweet with low tannins and some sweet acidity. Juicy, but drying out a little on the finish. Reasonably complex and long. Glad I drank now rather than hanging on for another couple years. This way the fruit was still forward and ripe. Very good.

Last and best bottle. In fact, the only bottle I truly enjoyed. Served at a cooler temp than usual. Translucent cranberry color. Medium weight. Bright red fruit. Slight vanilla oak. Faint white pepper. Balanced. Medium finish. QPR. D/H.

Consistent notes, although the fruit tends darker this time around.
