Clear, pale rust with heavy bricking.
Subtle and austere on the nose with tar, liquorice, worn leather and crushed strawberry.
Palate is full with firm tannin and persistent acidity.
Flavours of tar, tobacco, and menthol.
Good length. Hot finish.
Even after 25 years this wine needs time. Try again in 5-10 years.
