It is elegant for a Barolo with its fine almost silky tannins but with lots of powerful, lush, dark layered fruit under the hood giving it a superb balance. Wonderful now but will continue to improve and gain more nuances.

In a really good phase right now but but at the top quite yet. I like the darker berries that comes with the Rocche dell’Annunziata wineyard and the sweetness, and matches nicely with the tannins.

Agree with previous comment - this wine is going through a dumb phase. All tannin, no aroma, even after 3 days. It's practically inert, except for the tannin. I will wait a few years before I attempt the next bottle.

Decanted about 5 hours. Wonderful nose of blackcurrant and the classical acetone. But the taste was not at all as pleasant. First I couldn't point to what was wrong. It wasn't corked but something wasn't right. It had no acidity whatsoever. Lots of tannins though and great fruit. But it just seemed "flat" in the mouth. I guessed that it might be closed but it didn't improve over time. Last glass was undrinkable. No former knowledge with Revello but had plenty of Rocche wines before (Which I love) But the complete lack of acidity gave it a very strange feel.

Relatively dark in color. Spice, tar, smoke on the nose. Complex, smooth and elegant. Medium finish. Drinking nicely now but still has time.
