precise and clean with a mix of red berries and cherries, more structure than the Il Poggione and a bit darker tones, spice and ripe tannins. Could easily deal with longer cellaring time

The wine is developing nicely - the fruit is still cherries and raspberries and menthol - more visible this time - the wine is very well balanced - we will stay on a very large 92 - a great wine.

I drink so little Tuscan wine, that I had to calibrate my palate for this. It hasn’t changed much from a few years ago. I prefer less ripe fruit, less polish, but it worked well with our meatballs and spaghetti.

We still like the wine and will stay at 92 - a well balanced Rosso - we are still getting cherries and this time also raspberries and hint of menthol. A very classic Rosso from Cerbaiona.
