Opened at 5pm, last sip at 10pm. This seemed more oxidative then I was expecting and somewhat flat. It was also very sweet on the finish, too sweet for me, no elegance. Maybe it is the vintage characteristic.

Maybe I’m just a sucker for these bubbles, but man do I adore them. Has the body to tell that it’s a BdN, solid acidity, and the frame to carry it without being flabby or juicy at all. Well damn done.

Out of its youthful exuberant phase now. Ripe orchard fruit and fermentation notes. Some caramel on the finish. A ripe version of this cuvee - wish there was a touch more verve. Curious how this will age...
