Medium+ nose of bruised apple, pear, peach, dairy, and wet stone. A bit oxidative upon opening, but that disappeared quickly. Medium+ acidity, creamy and slightly aggressive mousse, and medium+ finish. This felt way too young and not showing much compared to the 2016s I’ve had, so I would let it slumber for at least 2 years.

This is fantastic, blows any big house champagne out of the water. Beautifully balanced, cinnamon toast and lemon on the nose, pear and red apple on the palate, mineral, savory, chuggable. 93-94

R21, disgorged 2023. Just wonderful. Elite tier winemaking. Fresh and perfectly balanced. Poised. Soft and silky texture. On the nose and palate, delicate flavors of macerated red orchard fruit, ripe pink grapefruit, rose petal. Beautiful inner mouth aromatics with each sip. I think this is best to be enjoyed in youth, it's so good now, really not necessary to age these.

The most open and enjoyable VV I’ve had on release, maybe since the 2016? Pear and red fruits, savory and mineral, and the je ne sais quoi that I am always looking for from a bottle of champagne. Showing better than either the 2020 VV or 2018 UR did on release, both BdNs which will need much more time to develop in bottle. Wonderful.
