  • Beeswax, dried straw and chamomile on the nose, all nuts and toffee on the very long finish. But no fruit. Acid holds it together but this is sorta boring

  • From glass. Before pouring, wine seller warned me that this is made in an oxidative sherry style, aged for 11 years or whatever, however. Etc. Glass is being set upon the table, and no kidding, mister. VURRY sherry, vurry. Nose of the millennial assembly of tangy, roasted, salted nuts. Palate: yup. Roasted nuts, salt, tangy sandalwood. But sherry core is front-ended with white wine - a prick of sharp acidity and saline lemon. Not a wine I have forgotten; one I want to try again and share with 6-8 friends at the start of a dinner. Score above indicative, perhaps more than usual, of mood. But there are absolute swooners for this wine out there.

  • Aged for 32 months sous voile. Almonds, marzipan, orange blossom, ripe apple, and citrus on the nose. Nice acidity with flavors of orange zest, lemon, minerals, and nuts on the palate. Great finish. Quite lovely wine if you like the style.

  • We tasted this blind and no one could guess where it was from. Nose of sherry and nutty oxidative notes but some orchard fruit on the palate and then a long finish with a slightly sweet caramel note. Great with hard cheese from the same area as the wine. I will be looking for more of this one!
