Light red, elegant, finesse, multi layered nose of cherries, spices & exotic nose, very beautiful, a soulful wine, stunning, drinking at peak, served blind, most thought a Gevrey from 90s, it had a Chambolle or Vosne nose with a Gevrey palate

Tasted blind: good bright red color with ample clear rim; exciting nose showing maturity yet very rich sweet pinot fruit; powerful yet deft with good acidity carrying the long finish. I did guess the vintage and 1er cru classification.

From an excellent looking bottle, this wine had light red/orange rims and a light red center. The medium intensity nose featured cherries, oranges, and a touch of brown spice.
This wine was rather thin at first and then it was a bit acidic. The fruit and balance really started coming around after 2 hours of air. This wine was light in the mouth but beautifully balanced and showing quite a bit of flavor.
This lovely wine appeared to be right in the zone. It is not for those that want a sappy, thick Burgundy. It was light, ethereal, and attractive.

Mostly Burgs at Heidi's: Popped and poured. Totally unnecessary at this point in the evening, but still fun to the throw into the mix. The color is a very light brownish-red. The nose is soaring with beautiful clean red fruit. Very light on the palate, with pleasant but delicate flavors. Silky smooth texture. A really nice showing.
