The bottle was in really good nick. At first there are leathery, funky/meaty things going on. Ity breathes up and the wine's vinous sweetness comes to the fore. There are sweet meaty things and some florals. It is full and round, with good depth and a finish that expands and lingers.

Dark but clear ruby red color with only slight bricking at the rim. Nice nose with cheeries and a bit of funk. Suprisingly tannic and holding up well. Somewhat simple but this is very pleasant and incredibly fresh for an old Burg. .
