Definitely recommend. A nice, inexpensive and now fully mature Napa cab that is a cut above an entry level Napa cab - quite a good QPR at the avg CT price making this a solid go-to at restaurants. Disagree with above drinking window - more like 2020 - 2028 or 2030 at prime. Drink or hold but leaning on the drink. At this point recommend at least a 60 minute decant if possible. Inky black, no bricking, starting to come together nicely with very present but controlled oak & tannins and still quite fruit forward - a crowd pleaser at this point although priced above the ideal crowd pleaser point. Medium length pleasant aftertaste. Nose warm and aromatic with dark stone fruit, kirsch and a black pepper finish. Typical flavor profile of stone fruit and cassis up front with blackberry, licorice and tobacco developing on the finish. Ideal pairing is big meat.

Great color and nose. High tannin that costs the mouth. Good acidity, and great finish

Decanted for 90 minutes. Very similar to the other ‘21 bottle, a tad heat though, so going to move this down 1 Point to 91.
