Delicious. Served at cellar temp and let it warm up from there. Good fruit, good spice, but well balanced. showing well now, I don't think it will age much longer.

Popped and poured. Surprisingly light color, a little cloudy. Red cherry and plum nose, with a nice hint of charred meatiness. Light+ tannins, medium acidity and body. Very smooth, refreshing and easy-drinking, but not at all boring. Definitely more in the California camp than Rhone, but the Grenache influence is there. Ripe and fruit-forward, but not jammy (only 13.9% alcohol). Drinking well now, but I think the secondary flavors might add a little in 2-3 years. Not a bad value at $20, but a steal on clearance for $11.

Still like this - perhaps better values elsewhere.
