No formal notes - working from memory. A substantial white wine. Citrus, lemon mousse, toasted almonds, green apples, with good minerality and acidity. Well structured and distinct. Drinking well now, but perhaps can improve further.

Social distancing blind tasting: I am obsessed with these wines, and this one showed wonderfully. Deep yellow color. Crunchy aromas of candied orange peel, yellow and green apples, with lemon crème, sea salt, some olive oil and raw almond notes. The palate is rushing and exciting with a mountain stream and cold ocean wave aesthetic. Lemon peel, orange, key lime, kumquat fruit (gorgeous fresh, crunchy fruit). Complex notes of chalk, mineral, quinine, limestone - just all sorts of amazing depth here. Blind, my friends were wondering Muscadet, natty Pacific Northwest, Chablis, Alpine wines. It got even better the next day and really does well in a decanter. This deserves age and my respect.

Dinner at MingHin (Chicago, IL): Have to say, not sure if this wine is as "fire" as one might expect. Honestly, kind of weird with some kombucha-like thing on the palate. Good acidity, but sort of lacking in flavour.
