Much much better than the 2002 I had a few months ago. This 2003 is big and rich...full of creamy tropical fruit, caramel apples, pear, toasted marshmallow. Also has a nice mineral streak to it, and some sharp acid to freshen up the richness. Complexities of smoked honeysuckle, hazelnut lemon creme, white truffle honey...make this a VERY tasty wine! Still a few steps back from Marcassin/Kongsgaard, and Kistler....but makes up for it in price. Good stuff!
