  1988 Vintage Medium garnet colour with pale edging; plenty of dark fruit evident on the nose - blackberry, dried fig, raisin with chocolate. Palate is tamed ripe boiled fruits and slightly tainted back palate of graphite but a long dry finish with some cedar and mint. Definitely past it’s best but quite enjoyable 36 years on.
