Deep ruby color. I get waves of black cherries, bold plums and blueberries, with lots of smoky, earthy, charcoal, anise and mesquite notes. Medium+ bodied with serious grip to the tannins and bright acidity throughout; the balance is impressive on this young wine, though. Black cherries and plums, the fruit is dark and crunchy, mixed well with complex notes of anise, incense sticks, menthol, scorched earth, black pepper glaze, dried leaves. Super spicy but balanced and pleasant as well. Young and dry but this should do wonders in the cellar. Fermented in stainless steel and aged 12 months in oak.

Went here after the 2017 Envinate Migan Tinto. The Stoney pepperiness drew me here. But so much more body, and so much more fruit. More potpourri than pepper. Excellent here too. After a couple months coravin’d Medium and fresh, such a delicious sauvage pop in the palate. Drinks like blaufrankisch.

Really popping with cinammon to the aromas. This is a very attractive example of Italian Cab Franc. All the things you and and none of the things other people don’t want. Bouncy, exotic black pepperiness. Fudge, this is good.

Great every day drinker. Pairs well with lighter Italian dishes, purchased at $24 and would buy again.
