  Dark ruby in color. On opening pours (Coravin) this was quite structured, and yet friendly. On the second night, cork removed, this showed as even more friendly/ generous, and simultaneously, elegant. Complex. Fine acid backbone. The last few sips on the third night were even better. This shows great promise, and we will try to hold the next for at couple years.

  - An open nose with aromas of red fruits, dominated by cherries, raspberries, red plums and a lot of stony aromas, rose petals, toast, all of it subtle and feminine.
  - On the palate it is a little more austere, but also elegant and beautiful red fruit, the acidity adds a lot of fun here, has a light green touch. The length is supported by the citric acid. Not too much body.
  - 93 points.

  A bit of a shock as it is far bigger and rich than I was expecting for the vintage and really very nice. Still a baby with a colour that displays lots of baby fat. Should be left for a few years and i suspect it will be very good. DL look like they are producing Vougeot wines representative of the fantastic plot that they have and this wine is a recommended buy for the price point. Excellent
