  • Bon, sans plus.

  • Medium bodied, towards natural wine styling. PnP huge nose and palate. Bright purple and red berries, tart acidity, anise and violet, wet rocks. Animal hide-like brett stars in the show but does not dominate... it's more brett than a Pegau Reserve, less than Pur Breton. Overall higher toned, concentrated, persistent, and delicious. Having some char or earthy Rhone tones would take it to another level. Now-2040.

  • This seems more like warm weather syrah without the understated, Northern Rhone cool complexity of previous vintages, with a confectionary top note and less refined tannin. The last half of the bottle in the fridge with argon after a day showed significant reduction, then a second bottle was the same...I firmly believe in changes from travel, occasionally even improvement. Sampled immediately upon receipt so possibly not representative.
